What Are Neuromuscular Dentures?
Neuromuscular dentures are not to be confused with regular dentures. Millions of people suffer daily from dentures that do not fit correctly. They have a difficult time eating and their dentures are unstable and come loose at inopportune times. Worst of all their faces look like they are wearing dentures. Just because you have dentures doesn’t mean that you have to experience these challenges.
Neuromuscular dentures use neuromuscular principles to help eliminate the challenges associated with traditional dentures. Our goal when we do dentures is to not only restore your smile back to a beautiful and natural look, but also to place your jaw in harmony with the muscles of your bite and face, as well as harmony within your jaw joint. It is not uncommon for our dentures to improve your posture and to take years off of your face.
If you struggle with a lower denture coming loose or with your appearance as a result of your dentures, you owe it to yourself to find out how wonderful neuromuscular dentures can be. -Dr. Kelley Mingus of Bend Dental Practice Distinctive Dentistry at Broken Top
